  EM Holding Corp.: Withdrawal of cash offer for Eidos Public Limited Company

Following the announcement by the Board of Eidos Public Limited Company
("Eidos") on 7 April 2005 and the posting of the recommended offer by SCi
Entertainment Group PLC ("SCi") on 19 April 2005, EM Holding Corp. ("EM
Holding") announces that, in agreement with the Panel on Takeovers and Mergers,
under note 2 on rule 2.7 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, it will not
be proceeding with the cash offer for Eidos, announced by EM Holding on 21 March
2005.

For the purposes of rule 2.8 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, EM
Holding reserves the right at any time hereafter to make or participate in any
offer for Eidos which has the recommendation of the Board of Eidos.

The directors of EM Holding note the strong support from Eidos' shareholders
that the SCi offer has received and would like to wish Eidos and its
stakeholders well under the proposed stewardship of SCi.
