                     Equable Properties plc ('the Company')

                                Placing Proceeds

Further to earlier announcements, the board of Equable announces that #50,000, 
received earlier in payment for shares in respect of which payment had been 
delayed, has been repaid by the Company. The repayment has been made on the 
understanding that this amount, together with the remaining #150,000 still 
outstanding,  will be received shortly.

An announcement will be made as soon as funds have been received.

Pending receipt of the funds, the Board is confident that the Company has 
adequate working capital to meet its obligations and continue normal operations.
