In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provisions, Global
Health Partner plc ("GHP") would like to notify the market that, as of 27
December 2006, the total number of 50p ordinary shares with voting rights is
41,702,224.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations, by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to, their interest in GHP, under the FSA's Disclosure
and Transparency Rules.
