                              Admission of Shares

The Directors of GMA Resources plc announce that a total of 350,000 new ordinary
shares of 1p each were allotted on 10 June 2003 to holders of #35,000 nominal of
8 per cent. convertible unsecured loan stock at a conversion rate of 10p per new
ordinary share.

An application for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on the
Alternative Investment Market has been made to the London Stock Exchange.
Dealings in these shares are expected to commence on 19 June 2003.

The shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of 1p in
issue.
