UPDATE TO NYSE LISTING INITIATIVE

GeoPark Limited ("GeoPark"), the Latin American oil and gas explorer, operator and consolidator with operations and producing properties in Chile, Colombia, Brazil and Argentina (AIM: GPK), is pleased to announce that following shareholders' approval it continues to evaluate the optimum timing for its proposed listing and common shares offering on the New York Stock Exchange ("NYSE"), which is expected to be in the first half of 2014. A further announcement will be made in due course. In the meantime, GeoPark continues to be admitted to trading on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange.

As announced on 10 September 2013, GeoPark is considering a listing on the NYSE in order to create a public market for its common shares in the United States and to facilitate future access by the Company to the international equity markets, as well as to obtain additional capital and financial flexibility.

A registration statement relating to the common shares has been filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective. The common shares may not be sold, nor may offers to buy be accepted, in the United States prior to the time the registration statement becomes effective.
