                              UPDATE ON SFO ENQUIRY

Goldshield Group plc (the 'Company') today announces an update on the SFO
investigation. The Company maintains their commitment (pledged and demonstrated
from the outset) to provide the SFO with their full support and co-operation.
This co-operation shown at the time of the initial contact was acknowledged by
the SFO. As part of the process, two of the Company's Directors, Mr. Ajit Patel
and Mr. Kirti Patel are today attending further interviews. The Company denies
strongly any allegations of wrongdoing.

Ajit Patel, Chief Executive of Goldshield Group plc commented;

" We continue to assist the SFO with their investigation in every way possible.
We maintain our belief that we did not act in any way that was unlawful or
improper and will continue to defend our position vigorously.

" In January the SFO wrote to us to set up a series of interviews. We
voluntarily attended the first interview last month. The interview today is
simply the follow up.

" Over the last three years the investigation has been a burden on the Company.
I am keen for a conclusion as soon as possible. I am eager to get back to
concentrating all my energies on driving Goldshield forward."
