NOTIFICATION OF INTERESTS OF DIRECTORS AND CONNECTED PERSONS


The company has today been notified that on 4th March 2008 Dr Brian Whittle, a
Director of the Company, gifted for nil consideration a total of 100,000
ordinary shares of 0.1p to a medical charity. The gift amounts to 0.08% of the
issued ordinary share capital.

Following this notification Dr Whittle retains a beneficial interest in
10,158,446 ordinary shares, amounting to 8.44% of the shares in issue.
