Management changes



The Board of Healthcare Enterprise Group PLC ("HCEG") is pleased to announce the
appointment of Gordon Wood as Group Chief Executive Officer, with immediate
effect.  He was previously Chief Operating Officer.



Michael Low, who is currently Chief Executive Officer of Advisory Services for
HCEG and who is based in the US, will become Group Chief Development Officer
reporting to Gordon.



Gordon will spend the majority of his time in the US in order to manage the
extensive opportunities in that market and from where sales growth in Japan and
the Far East can be better co-ordinated.  He will be available in the UK on a
regular basis.



Stuart Bruck, Executive Chairman, and John Bradshaw, Group Finance Director,
will continue to be based in London.

Gordon Wood



In 1989 Gordon Wood established his own business-to-business company servicing
the UK veterinary sector.  In 1993 he successfully divested of his interests in
this group, joining Lloyds Chemists plc as Commercial Director of their
Veterinary division in the process.  In October 1994 he was recruited by the
Intercare Group plc as Managing Director of the medical products division before
leading the management buy out of Safa from Intercare in 1996.  In 1999 he
established Safatec which has developed the HCEG product pipeline that has led
to Ebiox and Optiscope.  In 2000 he set up FDA and CE-mark approved
manufacturing facilities in the Far East through Safasia.  Gordon joined the
main board of HCEG in November 2003.



Michael Low



Michael Low has over twenty-five years of experience in the healthcare industry,
covering business development, strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining HCEG, Michael co-founded Medical Development and Technology,
Inc. with Stuart Bruck, and was subsequently appointed Vice President for
Business Development at AHI Healthcare Systems, Inc. in 1993.  Previous to this,
Michael Low held business development, strategic planning and consulting
positions with a variety of healthcare organisations.
