Heywood Williams Group PLC ("the Company") announces that it received notice on 
24 August 2009 from Investec Asset Management Ltd ("Investec") advising that 
following a disposal of shares Investec now has an indirect interest in 
9,000,000 of the voting shares of the Company. As a result Investec's percentage 
holding has crossed the 11% threshold and represents 10.607% of the Company's 
issued ordinary share capital.
