    Appointment of New Board Members


    Infinity Bio-Energy Ltd. (AIM: IBI.L) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Dimitri Mariette Henri Pauwels and Mr. Alberto
Mendes Tepedino to its Board of Directors (the "Board"). 

    Dimitri Pauwels, age 41, is currently a Venture Partner for the Virgin Green Fund, a leading investor in alternative energy and energy
efficiency. Dimitri joined the Virgin Green Fund from Virgin Management where he was Director Corporate Development and developed the
Group's entry strategy into alternative energy. Prior to joining Virgin, Dimitri held a variety of principal investment and corporate
development roles with Morgan Stanley, CMGI and GE Capital. Before that, Dimitri was a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Co. Dimitri holds
an MBA from INSEAD and an MSc in Engineering from the University of Antwerp.

    Alberto Tepedino, age 58, is currently CFO of Infinity. Tepedino was the Director of Finance and Management of Parmalat Brasil S/A from
2004 to May 2006, where he participated in the recovery and sale of the company. He was also the Director of Finance and Management at
Brasil Ferrovias, at Industrial Development Company of the State of Rio de Janeiro, at Grupo Libra de Navegao, and he was President of the
Institute of Weights and Measures of the State of Rio de Janeiro. He holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and he has
post-graduation in Economic Engineering and Industrial Administration in the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.

    Andrew Lipman, Chairman, said "We are very pleased to welcome Dimitri and Alberto to our Board of Directors and believe they will both

    Sergio Thompson-Flores, CEO, said "Dimitri's investment experience in bio-energy businesses will provide us with a deep knowledge on
