                             Director shareholding


Imagesound plc (AIM: ISD.L) today announces that further to the announcement on
15 May 2006, Mapp Developments Limited ("MDL") has exercised its option to
acquire 1.5 million of the 3 million Ordinary Shares in the Company that were
issued to the vendors of Ideal Music as deferred consideration, at the exercise
price of 10p per share.

MDL is a company wholly owned by Derek Mapp who is also a Director and Executive
Chairman of Imagesound plc. As a consequence of the purchase of these shares,
Mr. Mapp now has a beneficial interest in the Company of 9,505,114 shares, which
represents 15.01% of the Company issued share capital.
