HEADLINE: Retirement of Director

The Board of Invesco Perpetual Select Trust plc announces that Peter Stormonth
Darling has retired as a Director of the Company with effect from 14 April
2008.

Patrick Gifford, the Chairman said "the Board is very grateful for the valuable
contribution Peter has made during a complex period for both the Company and
its predecessor, Merrill Lynch Asset Allocator plc. I am personally indebted to
his support."
