Update on the recommended acquisition by Alpcot Agro - JadenFinch proposal

Landkom International PLC (AIM: LKI, "Landkom" or "the Company"), the Ukrainian producer of agricultural commodities notes the announcement made by JadenFinch Limited on 29 December 2011.

The Board has reviewed the conditional proposal made by JadenFinch Ltd and has consulted with its professional advisers. The Board continues to believe that the recommended Alpcot Agro AB proposals are superior in terms of price, form of consideration and certainty of execution to the JadenFinch Ltd proposal which is also conditional on a positive outcome of legal, financial and commercial due diligence. The Board has responded directly to JadenFinch Ltd in this regard.
