Maelor plc, the specialist healthcare products company, announced that Paul
Williams, Finance Director and Company Secretary, left the Company yesterday to
pursue his other business interests.



There are no immediate plans to make a Board appointment, but his duties will be
carried out by Chief Financial Officer, Marie Greenwood, ACA, who recently
joined the Company from medical equipment supplier Shiloh plc.  Previously, Ms
Greenwood held several posts within the Northern Foods Group, following
qualification with KPMG.



Maelor Chairman Alastair Macpherson commented:



'The Board would like to express its appreciation for the major contribution
which Paul has made to Maelor since joining the Company at the time of its
flotation in 1997.'
