RESIGNATION OF JOINT COMPANY SECRETARY

Mr Garry Edwards has tendered his resignation as Monto Minerals Limited Joint
Company Secretary. Mr Edwards has been with Monto Minerals since September 1999.
This completes the transition from Mr Edwards as part time Company Secretary to
Mr Daniel Huff, a permanent employee, as Company Secretary.

The Directors of Monto Minerals would like to thank Mr Edwards for his efforts
over the last 7 years. The best wishes of the Board go with him for the future.
