Dr. Graham Bernard Lawson

The Board of Metal-Tech is sad to announce the death of Dr. Graham Bernard Lawson, their non-executive director since the Company was listed in 2005, following a period of illness.

Dr. Graham Lawson was a highly qualified chemical engineer with vast experience in production and management of international companies. He held international board level appointments since 1981 in industrial, mineral, chemicals and medical products on three continents. Dr. Lawson's last executive appointment, held for seven years until his retirement in May 2002, was as Chief Executive of Watts Blake Bearne & Co plc. Prior to this, he was Technical director of Borax Consolidated Ltd. (a Rio Tinto subsidiary). Dr. Lawson was a companion of the Chartered Management Institute, a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, a Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers and a Chartered Engineer. Dr. Lawson was the chairman of the Company's Audit Committee and was senior advisor to and the Chairman and Metal-Tech management.

Aik Rosenberg, CEO and Chairman of Metal-Tech, said: "We are deeply saddened at the news. Graham assisted me and Metal-Tech management in a kind and professional way. He had all the desired qualities one could have wished for, both professionally and personally. He was a tremendous adviser and an asset to the Company and me personally over the last seven years. Our deepest sympathies and prayers go out to his wife and family. We have lost a very good friend and we will miss him deeply."

The Company will seek a replacement and update the market at the appropriate time.
