NBNK announces that Wilbur Ross has resigned as a non-executive director and Chairman of the Company with immediate effect. His resignation ensures that he can comply with European Central Bank rules on other appointments, following confirmation that he has accepted an appointment as a director of Bank of Cyprus.

A further announcement will follow shortly concerning an appointment to replace Mr Ross.
