The first event is a developer contest, starting on
the 18th of November, 2013 through
the 16th of February, 2014, with final
judging planned for early March 2014.
The contest is focused on the development of applications
using application programming interfaces (APIs) by NTT

including consumer, enterprise, education, and
more. The winner will receive a pair of M100
smart glasses from Vuzix.
The second event is a two-day long developer hackathon on
December 7 and 8
at NTT DOCOMO Ventures,
Inc.'s offices in Tokyo. At the event, key software application
developers will have a chance to create a series of DOCOMO apps
that run on the Vuzix M100. The event,
after an introduction of how to use available APIs,
will have a short training session
on Vuzix smart glasses M100. After two days of
intensive programming, multiple new applications will
be developed with DOCOMO's APIs and among them, innovative
applications bringing DOCOMO's concierge services to
the smart glasses platform will be created as a way to
bring user unique new experiences. At the end of
the event, the best application developers will receive a Vuzix
M100 as an award for their efforts.
