Nestle S.A. has informed its shareholders that its 138th Ordinary General
Meeting of Shareholders will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2005, at 1500 at the
Palais de Beaulieu in Lausanne, Switzerland. A copy of the invitation to the
meeting, including the agenda and proposals, has been submitted to the UK
Listing Authority, and will shortly be availble for inspection at the UK Listing
Authority's Document Viewing Facility.
