Optare has been informed by Ashok Leyland Limited that following an Order of the Madras High Court (India) passed on 21 March 2014, Ashley Services Limited (an investment company of the Ashok Group), which was holding 49.76% of Optare's issued share capital, has been amalgamated with Ashok Leyland Limited effective from 1 July 2013. Accordingly, Ashok's holding in Optare remains unchanged representing 75.1% of Optare's issued share capital which is now solely held by Ashok Leyland Limited.
