Share Dealings and Director's Dealings

Pacific Alliance Asia Opportunity Fund Limited ("PAX" or the "Company") (AIM: PAX), the closed-end investment company admitted to trading on AIM, announces the following dealings in the Company.

The Company has been informed that on 20 June 2013, PAIM Trading Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pacific Alliance Investment Management Limited ("PAIM"), the Company's investment manager, transferred a total of 179,856 of the Company's ordinary shares of US$0.01 each (the "Ordinary Shares") to Mr. Anthony Miller, a director of the Company.

As a result of the transaction, Mr. Miller has a direct interest in 1,248,673 of the Company's Ordinary Shares, representing 1.10 per cent. of the Company's voting rights, and PAIM and its affiliates are interested in 10,541,347 of the Company's Ordinary Shares which represents 9.27 per cent. of the Company's total voting rights.

As a result of PAIM's interest in the Company, both Mr.Miller and Mr. Chris Gradel, a director of the Company, have an indirect interest in 10,541,347 of the Company's Ordinary Shares, representing 9.27 per cent. of the Company's voting rights held by PAIM and its affiliates.
