Parkwood Holdings plc, the specialist support services group, is pleased to 
announce the appointment of Charles Edward Lord as Non-Executive Director with 
effect from 1 January 2011. 
 
Mr Lord is Chairman of Local Partnerships LLP and Public Private Partnerships 
Programme Limited and holds a number of senior positions with the Local 
Government Association.  He is also Principal of Edward Lord Consultants, an 
advisory firm providing advice, inter alia, on political and public affairs, 
governance and fundraising. 
 
Mr Lord is an elected member of the City of London Corporation and serves as 
Chairman of the Licensing Committee as well as a member of the Policy & 
Resources, Establishment, Finance and Investment Committees. He is currently a 
Justice of the Peace, sitting at the City of London Magistrates' Court and in 
the appellate jurisdiction at the Central Criminal Court and Southwark Crown 
Court. Mr Lord became a freeman of the City of London in 2000.
