           Quadrant Group plc ("the Company")

Mr Russell Singleton, Managing Director of Quadrant Video
Systems  plc ("QVS"), the Company's CCTV and Professional
Video systems subsidiary, has additionally been appointed
as  an executive director of the Company with effect from
today.   Mr  Singleton, aged 39, is a Chartered  Engineer
and joined QVS in 1984.

Lord  Rees,  Chairman of the Company, commenting  on  the
appointment said, "We are delighted to welcome Russell to
the  board  of the Company.  He has played a  substantial
role  in the successful growth of QVS and we look forward
to his further contributions to the group as a whole".
