              QUADRANT GROUP PLC ("the Company")
                               
                 GRANT OF OPTIONS TO DIRECTORS
                               
On  19 October 1998 Mr N C Poultney, Mr J Sandiford and Mr R  C
Singleton, directors of the Company, were each granted options,
for  nil  consideration, over 50,000 of the Company's  ordinary
20p  shares (Ordinary Shares") at a subscription price of  42.5
pence under the Company Share Option Scheme. These options  are
exerciseable  between  19 October 2001  and  19  October  2008,
subject to the achievement of performance conditions.

Mr   Sandiford  and  Mr  Singleton  have  both  agreed  to  the
cancellation of their rights to options over 12,500  and  7,000
Ordinary  Shares respectively, held prior to the  grant  on  19
October  1998.  Following  these grants  and  cancellations  Mr
Poultney, Mr Sandiford and Mr Singleton will each hold  options
over 50,000 Ordinary Shares.
