SAIC Awarded $70 Million Contract by the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk

Company to Provide Professional Support Services for Commander,
Naval Installations Command (CNIC) McLEAN, Va. and SAN DIEGO, Oct.
29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Science Applications International
Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE:SAI) today announced it has been awarded a
prime contract by the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk
(FISCN) to provide professional support services for Commander,
Naval Installations Command (CNIC) Headquarters and Chief of Naval
Operations. The multiple award indefinite delivery/indefinite
quantity contract has a one year base period of performance, four
one-year options, and a total value of more than $70 million for
SAIC, if all options are exercised. Work will be performed
primarily in the National Capital Region. CNIC enables the Navy to
execute its mission through enterprise alignment of all shore
installation support. Under this contract, SAIC will provide
professional services including program management, engineering,
logistics, and financial management. SAIC will also support CNIC
management, organizational and business improvement efforts. "We
