Completion of acquisition of New Production Site

William Sinclair, one of the UK's leading suppliers of growing media, announces that it has completed the GBP4.75 million acquisition of a major new production site at Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.

The Company will now begin its phased occupation of the site starting with a second production facility for 'SuperFyba', its advanced, peat free growing material. This new facility is already being delivered to and assembled at the site and will become operational in November 2012. It will double the Company's annual production capacity of SuperFyba to approximately 300,000 m3 per annum.

SuperFyba has similar qualities to peat and enhances the consistency of our already high quality peat reduced and peat free products. It was used extensively in the highly successful landscaping of the Olympic Park, London.

Other group operations will be transferred to the Ellesmere Port site in a carefully planned process over the next five years.
