Mine, a division of Buffelsfontein Gold Mine Limited, which is a subsidiary of
DRD Gold Limited. (DRD North West Operations) Recent press and SENS
announcements have stated that these operations have been placed under
provisional liquidation.

Shareholders are advised that the full impact of the abovementioned action is
currently being determined and may have a material effect on the price of the
company's securities. Accordingly shareholders are advised to exercise caution
when dealing in the company's securities until a full announcement is made.
