Versatile Systems Inc ("the Company")
Purchase of own shares and notification of transaction by a Director


Versatile Systems Inc. announces that, pursuant to its normal course issuer bid
which commenced on 26 November 2007, the Company acquired 50,000 common shares
at a price of CDN$ 0.25 per share on 13 February 2008. Following this purchase,
the number of common shares outstanding is 121,098,643. The shares purchased
will initially be held as treasury shares and, subject to Board approval, will
be cancelled. The number of treasury shares now held by the Company is 50,000.

The Company also announces that it was notified on the 14 February 2008 that
Kais Laouiti, a Director of the Company, purchased 100,000 common shares in the
Company at CDN$ 0.2194 per share on 12 February 2008. His total interest (held
both directly and indirectly) in the common shares of the Company (excluding
treasury shares), following this transaction is 3,300,500 shares, representing
2.7% of the issued share capital of the Company.
