                     The Wigmore Group plc (the "Company")

                         Placing and Additional Listing

The Wigmore Group plc, the support services group, is pleased to announce that
it has raised #250,000 in an equity placing. The Company has placed 12,500,000
ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company at 2p per share with institutional and
private investors. The funds raised will be used as working capital to fund
expansion of the business.

Application will be made for the 12,500,000 new ordinary shares to be admitted
to trading on AIM. The new ordinary shares will rank pari passu with the
existing ordinary shares in issue and dealings on AIM are expected to commence
on Tuesday, 27 May 2003.
