Notes

This trade has been carried out in relation to the scheme of arrangement (the
"Scheme") pursuant to which Berkshire Bidco Limited is proposing to acquire the
entire issued share capital of Westcity plc, details of which were set out in a
circular to Westcity plc's shareholders dated 21 September 2009 ("Scheme
Document"). As previously announced on 21 October 2009, Westcity plc's
shareholders have voted in favour of the Scheme and have approved all
resolutions required to give effect to the Scheme. As disclosed in the Scheme
Document, for the purposes of implementing the Scheme, Berkshire Bidco Limited
has acquired one ordinary share in Westcity plc prior to the date of the Court
Hearing to sanction the Scheme on 10 November 2009.
