SABIEN TECHNOLOGY GROUP PLC (SNT.LN) Monday said it inked deals
with Centrica PLC (CNA.LN) and Serco Group PLC (SRP.LN) to provide
them its M2G energy efficiency technology.
M2G is a control system for a boiler that cuts emissions and
saves energy. Terms weren't disclosed.
At 1345 GMT, shares +23 pence or more than quadruple to 30.5
pence.
CATTLES PLC (CTT.LN) Monday said it has sold its Cattles Invoice
Finance Ltd for GBP70 million to private equity fund AnaCap
Financial Partners as it looks to pay down its hefty bank debt.
Shares suspended at 6.88 pence.
STANLEY GIBBONS PLC (SGI.LN), a stamps and memorabilia dealer,
aid future sales will soar once it uploads its full catalogue to
its Web site.
"The size and potential for it is massive. There's 48 million
collectors in the world. Even if we only get a slice of that, if
they spend an average GBP200 a year as a conservative estimate it
could still be a huge revenue generator," Chief Executive Michael
Hall told Dow Jones Newswires in an interview Friday.
Richard Penney, manager of the L&G UK Alpha Fund, which has
a 6% holding in Stanley Gibbons, said future sales could rise by at
least 15% a year.

STERLING ENERGY PLC (SEY.LN), an oil and gas company, said it is
mulling a discounted equity placing and selling either itself or
certain assets, as it strives to find a long-term solution to its
financing position.

BTG PLC (BGC.LN), a pharmaceutical company, is seeking to block
U.S. imports of a host of electronic products, including Apple
Inc.'s (AAPL) iPhone, alleging chips made by Samsung Electronics
Co. Ltd. (005930.SE) used in dozens of devices infringe its
patents.
At 1346 GMT, shares +1.1 pence or 0.6% at 186.4 pence.
SOUTHERN CROSS HEALTHCARE PLC (SCHE.LN), a U.K. care home
operator said it would focus on improving occupancy rates by
improving the quality of care after third-quarter adjusted earnings
fell due to more empty beds.
At 1347 GMT, shares -7.5 pence or 5% at 142.25 pence.
PORTMEIRION GROUP (PMP.LN), a ceramics and glassware company,
said it expects second-half sales to soar despite the difficulty in
predicting spending habits of consumers in the U.S., its largest
market.
At 1348 GMT, shares +30 pence or 14% at 250 pence.
HOLIDAYBREAK PLC (HBR.LN) said it has exchanged contracts to buy
a 150-acre site in Wiltshire, U.K. for GBP9.4 million and will open
a PGL outdoor education centre there next year.
The U.K. education, leisure and activity travel company said a
further investment of up to GBP3.2 million in the site's facilities
will be spread over 2010, 2011 and 2012.
At 1348 GMT, shares +23 pence or 9% at 290 pence.
IMAGINATIK PLC (IMTK.LN) said it has conditionally raised just
under GBP1.6 million through a discounted placing.
The software developer issued 26,266,666 new ordinary shares of
0.0625 pence each at a price of 6 pence a share, a discount to
Friday's closing price of 6.25 pence a share.
At 1348 GMT, shares +0.75 pence or 12% at 7 pence.
VINDON HEALTHCARE PLC (VDN.LN), a controlled storage company,
said 2009 earnings will be materially below market expectations,
hurt by lower capital sales.
Vindon, which provides testing chambers and storage sites for
drug makers, galleries and others, makes money both by renting
storage space but also by selling equipment, and it said the market
for equipment has been less buoyant than previously
experienced.
At 1349 GMT, shares -2.75 pence or 15% at 15.75 pence.
ZIRAX PLC (ZRX.LN), a chemicals company, said it won a $4
million contract to provide de-icing chemicals to Moscow. Zirax
said it was chosen to supply 20,000 metric tons of calcium
chloride-based de-icers to Moscow City Council for the coming
winter.
At 1349 GMT, shares +0.5 pence or 16% at 3.63 pence.
EREDENE CAPITAL PLC (ERE.LN) said it has conditionally raised
GBP7.1 million through a placing to invest in new infrastructure
projects in India.
The U.K.-based investor said it plans to set up a new fund,
which would be managed by a subsidiary of Eredene, to finance
projects in its current pipeline with a focus on ports, logistics,
warehousing and transportation.
At 1349 GMT, shares +0.25 pence or 1.2% at 20.75 pence.
HARVEY NASH GROUP PLC (HVN.LN) said first-half revenue is flat
on the previous year as the decline in demand for its recruitment
services was partially offset by its IT outsourcing businesses.
In 2008 the global recruitment and IT outsourcing company posted
revenue of GBP199.8 million.
At 1350 GMT, shares +1 pence or 2.6% at 39.5 pence.
ASTAIRE GROUP PLC (ASTR.LN), a stockbroker, said it now holds,
or has received, acceptances for 89.3% of the total voting rights
of bid target Dowgate Capital PLC (DGT.LN).
At 1350 GMT, shares flat at 4.88 pence.
QUORUM OIL & GAS TECHNOLOGY FUND LTD. (QOGT.LN), an
investment company, said it intends to raise $50 million to make
three new investments and to fund its existing portfolio
companies.
At 1352 GMT, shares flat at $9.35.
SYNCHRONICA PLC (SYNC.LN) said it won a contract with a second
African mobile phone operator.
The mobile email software maker said it received a purchase
order for $248,000 from an unnamed North African mobile operator
for its Gateway product. The order covers 70,000 users.
At 1352 GMT, shares flat at 2.88 pence.
JUST RETIREMENT (HOLDINGS)PLC (JR.LN), a U.K. life assurance
group, said it is still in talks with potential buyer Avalon
Acquisitions Ltd. and has extended the deadline for a firm proposal
to Sept. 25 from Aug. 20.
At 1352 GMT, shares +0.25 pence or 0.4% at 69 pence.
BLACKS LEISURE GROUP PLC (BSLA.LN), a U.K. outdoor clothing
retailer, said its extended working capital facility with Lloyds
Banking group (LLOY.LN) is now formally in place.
At 1353 GMT, shares +0.5 pence or 1% at 47.5 pence.
