NEW YORK, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R)) today began trading Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. 8% Callable STRIDES payable at maturity with Micron Technology, Inc. common stock. Trading under the ticker symbol MLU, one million shares of the new one-year securities were issued at $25.00 each with a maturity date of November 15, 2004. The Callable STRIDES are similar to other debt securities and make fixed quarterly interest payments, in this case at an annual rate of 8% on the $25.00 principal amount of each Callable STRIDES beginning February 15, 2004.
