RIVIÈRE-DU-LOUP, QC, June 21, 2024 /CNW/ - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

The Honourable Soraya Martinez Ferrada, Minister of Tourism and Minister responsible for CED, will take the opportunity during her time in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region this coming June 26 and 27 to visit regional tourist attractions, meet with tourism stakeholders, and announce financial assistance for four organizations in this sector, in addition to attending the inauguration of the Halles d'Innovation et de Formation Avancée (HIFA).

Media representatives are invited to meet with the Minister at each of the public activities she will participate in.

Activity: Announcement of financial support for four tourism organizations

The four projects supported by CED are Le Québec maritime, which brings together the Associations touristiques régionales (ATRs) of the Bas-Saint-Laurent, Côte-Nord, Gaspésie and Les Îles-de-la-Madeleine regions; the Hôtel Universel Rivière-du-Loup, Société Duvetnor and the Corporation de développement de Lac-des-Aigles.
