Conference (NextGen) was held June 12-14,
2024, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Denver, Colo. This meeting is one of more than
15 signature events CPAmerica holds throughout the year. With over
150 individuals representing 68 member firms in attendance, the
2024 meeting was a success.

Specifically designed for our member firms' successful seniors
and managers, this year's meeting featured noteworthy speakers
providing insights into a variety of leadership and management
skills. Deedre Daniel, founder and
president of The Interesting Conversations Company, opened the
meeting with her highly interactive keynote presentation.
Additionally, attendees were divided into two groups with
Jeremy Clopton from Upstream Academy
leading the intermediate track attendees, and Arianna Campbell from Boomer Consulting leading
the advanced track participants. Members also benefited from
Kristen Rampe of Rosenberg Associates and the "Ask a Partner" panel
discussion featuring member firm partners, Haleigh Gonzalez (Soukup, Bush &
Associates), Tricia Katebini (GRF
CPAs & Advisors), and Sam
Latimer (Rushton).
The Strategic Thinking Pre-Conference with Jon Lokhorst from Lokhorst Consulting also broke
records with 84 attendees. Through this optional session,
participants had the opportunity to enhance their strategic
thinking and innovation skills.
One advanced track attendee, Hannah
Bailey, Aldrich Group, shared, "I have been inspired to look
at talent retention, my leadership, and how to use retention and
development strategies to assist with workload balancing concepts I
have been thinking about working on."
