Plowback Ratio

Plowback ratio, shows the proportion of earnings not paid out as dividends, which is plowed back into the business. The formula is:

= (100 - Dividend Payout Ratio)
or
= (Retained Profit PS / EPS-basic) * 100

Note: If a company had losses during the period under review, Plowback ratio is not defined.
