The StorageTek Foundation today provided the American Red Cross with a two-year, $50,000 corporate sponsorship supporting the agency's "Prepare Colorado" emergency preparedness campaign. The program encompasses emergency planning;using an emergency kit; applying first aid, CPR and other life-saving skills; volunteering to help those in need; and giving blood. The campaign aims to increase awareness and understanding of the importance of emergency preparation so that as many Colorado residents as possible have a disaster plan and kit prepared for unexpected circumstances.
