Pernod Ricard Buys Texan Premium-Whiskey Maker

Pernod Ricard SA (RI.FR) said Monday that it has bought the
owner of premium-whiskey brand TX, Firestone & Robertson
Distilling Co.
The French spirits maker said the deal will strengthen its
presence and portfolio in the U.S. The Texan whiskey brand range
includes super-premium whiskey and bourbon, Pernod said.
The transaction is expected to close soon, Pernod said.
Financial details weren't disclosed.
