Extending yesterday's downtrend, the US dollar fell to a fresh multi-month low of 537.25 against the U.S. currency at about 12:25 pm ET Thursday. At yesterday's close, the pair was quoted at 551.25. Presently, the greenback is trading near 538.85 versus the Chilean peso. The dollar has been in a downward channel against the peso for the past 10 days.
