Dollar Plummets To Fresh Multi-month Low Versus South African Rand

After edging up in early morning deals, the US dollar tumbled
against the South African rand in New York afternoon deals on
Friday. At 2:40 pm ET, the greenback plummeted to a fresh
multi-month low of 7.3805 versus the rand from early high of
7.4775. At present, the pair is trading at 7.4300, compared to
yesterday's North American session close of 7.4350. The dollar has
been in a downward channel against the South African currency for
the past 4 days.
