Dollar Slumps To More Than 2 1/2 -year Low Versus South African Rand

The US dollar slipped further against the South African rand in
New York afternoon trading on Tuesday. The greenback plummeted to
more than a 2 1/2 -year low of 6.8839 versus the rand by about 2:05
pm ET, which may be compared to yesterday's closing value of
6.9924. As of now, the pair is worth 6.8886.
