US Dollar Advances To More Than 5-week High Versus South African Rand

The US dollar traded higher against the South African rand
during New York morning deals on Friday. At 8:10 am ET, the
greenback climbed to more than a 5-week high of 6.9755 versus the
rand from European session's low of 6.7950. As of now, the
greenback is trading near 6.9331 versus the South African unit,
compared to yesterday's close of 6.8440.
