When are they going to make a Netflix series about the Redbox Scandal and how shareholders were completely fleeced out of their money due to CSSE's $.64 bid for RedBox that the CEO approved. Everybody dumped their shares all the way down to around $2 only to watch and horror as it skyrocketed 18 dollars. Complete mismanagement on behalf of both companies and there should be big time class action lawsuits against Chicken Soup for the Soul and Redbox

Whales were buying deep ITM call contracts by the thousands. It was nothing to see a 2000 contract call option cross the board and there were lots of these totaling millions of shares that were used to dump on the open market the following week. Meanwhile market makers still have yet to locate these shares. This went on for weeks. The amount of naked shares that were on the market were insane. In the end yes that is what will happen, but the supply and demand for this stock should have rocketed RDBX way beyond $18. This was the most abused traded stock ever and the SEC has definitely given greater leeway to fail shares to keep a stock from squeezing to extreme levels. Nothing will ever squeeze like GME ever again. Did you follow what had happened in the options chain with RBDX?

500% short interest yet a valid contract between the two companies to be bought out for $0.64 a share. That's probably the reason why it had such huge short interest. Basically the share price will get back down to its Fair valuation. If Chicken Soup for the Soul purchases red box for 64 cents a share, then that's where the stock will open

Plus you can't overlook the options chain shenanigans that took place.

It ran $18 because short interest with all the naked and real shares ( what that mean anymore) it had over 500% SI.

So this piece of crap stock is finally going to be trading at around 67 cents a share when Chicken Soup for the Soul buys them out? Why would this have ran from $2 all the way to $18 when the merger was pretty much under contractual obligation by both parties? That never made any sense to me and nobody likes talking about it

RDBX has been on the Threshold list since mid April. The numbers are clearly being manipulated here and the amount of cheating that has taken place with this ticker is unprecedented. Where did the FTDs go and why is it still on the Threshold list if those FTDs have been recovered. Nothing will ever squeeze again after watching this sh!t show
