About the OmniTune? TUA6045
The OmniTune TUA6045 is an advanced RF Tuner IC requiring a
minimum supply voltage of only 3.3 V without compromise to its RF
performance. Operating at only 3.3 V compared to the traditional 5V
corresponds to a greater than 30% less energy consumption compared
to leading products in the market and perfectly fits into
Infineon's strategic decision to offer semiconductor and system
solutions, addressing three central challenges to modern society:
energy efficiency, communications and security.
The OmniTune RF IC is the world's first RF-Tuner to incorporate
a mixer-oscillator function and an IF AGC amplifier with a
digitally programmable phase locked loop (PLL) for use in portable
TV tuners. Both analog and digital standards for all terrestrial
and cable applications are supported.
