On August 22, 2008, CME Group, Inc. (“CME Group”) issued a press release announcing the closing of the merger of NYMEX Holdings, Inc. with and into CMEG NY Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of CME Group, effective as of 9:00 A.M. (New York time).
