THE CREATIVE EDUCATION CORPORATION PLC ("CEC" or "THE COMPANY")

The Company has raised #615,000 by way of a placing of 12,300,000 new ordinary
shares of 1p each at a placing price of 5p. Application has been made for the
new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment
Market of the London Stock exchange and dealings are expected to commence on
Monday 24 November 2003.

The shares will rank pari passu with existing shares in issue.
