Medifast Independent Directors, Lt. Gen. Dennis McCarthy (Ret) has
been nominated by President Obama, and confirmed by the U.S.
Senate, as the new Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve
Affairs. Gen. McCarthy has served his country in the United States
Marine Corps for over 36 years and most recently was the Executive
Director of the Reserve Officers Association of the United States.
