The directors of Multi Group Plc ("Multi" or "Company") note the comment in
today's press regarding the possible disposal of its software business.



As stated in the circular to shareholders dated 16 October 2003, the Company is
actively seeking to dispose, refinance or cease its non-core activities, which
include its software business. The directors are also investigating potential
acquisitions to strengthen the residual group and discussions are on-going on a
number of fronts, but no agreement has yet been reached with any party.



Further announcements will be made as and when it is appropriate to do so.
