Software AG today announced it was named a 2012 Great Supply Chain Partner by SupplyChainBrain, the world’s most comprehensive supply chain management information resource. SupplyChainBrain’s 10th annual list of 100 Great Supply Chain Partners is the result of a six-month on-line poll in which supply chain professionals were asked to nominate vendors and service providers whose solutions have made a significant impact on their company’s efficiency, customer service and overall supply chain performance.

The SupplyChainBrain editorial staff reviewed numerous nominations this year. The 2012 Great Supply Chain Partner list is intended to recognize providers that have so impressed their customers that they deserve to be held up as leaders in the industry. Their products, services and solutions have made a significant impact on a company’s efficiency, customer service and overall supply chain performance.

“Nominations were received for hundreds of trading partners in every aspect of supply chain management,” said SupplyChainBrain Publisher Brad Berger. “The 2012 July/August issue of SupplyChainBrain magazine includes the select list of companies whose solutions and services have been so impressive that their customers took the time to write and let us know. Our compliments to Software AG on making this select list of 100 companies who received the most qualified nominations.”

Software AG can assist organizations with complex supply chains to gain visibility and control by delivering solutions that help them understand and manage supply chain anomalies in real time—which in turn enables the right response at the right time. The result is increased responsiveness to changing customer/business needs, reduced resolution time and significant cost savings.

“Software AG’s supply chain solutions – like iKnow Order Visibility, released in May – provide a proven and best practice approach based on our clients’ success,” said Jay Johnson, President of Software AG USA. “We are pleased to be recognized as a 2012 Great Supply Chain Partner by SupplyChainBrain and add this to our list of awards and recognitions from the supply chain community, further illustrating our standing as a top provider of solutions that promote visibility, control and agility across the entire supply chain.”
