Centamin PLC: Application for Listing of Ordinary Shares

Centamin plc ("Centamin" or "the Company") (LSE: CEY; TSX: CEE)

APPLICATION FOR LISTING OF ORDINARY SHARES

Centamin has applied for a further tranche of 2,980,494 ordinary shares to be admitted to trading.

The Company has made the application to the Financial Conduct Authority for admission to the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange plc for admission to trading of this tranche on 2 May 2014.

This relates to the final tranche of shares to be issued to the remaining Ampella Mining Limited shareholders, whose shares will be compulsorily acquired, following the Company's successful takeover bid.

In compliance with DTR5.6, as of today's date the issued share capital of the Company, with voting rights, is 1,149,127,490 (excluding the shares to be issued under the application noted above). The Company does not hold any shares in Treasury.
