Gary, I also hope for news before year end but also like you am ready to harvest the tax loss if we do not hear anything by year end. I doubled down on my taxable shares in November and hope all goes up (way up) but if not like you I can at least get the tax loss to offset other gains

I'll take a mid-sized pharma suitor for a buyout. So as not to have the value of the pipeline diluted by being a small fish in a big pond. And I'd like half in stock and half in cash, so we still get to partially capture the future value appreciation.

Likely some fund wants it off their books before year end for whatever reason. Unlikely to be tax loss selling, but could be profit taking.
